Can I find fax or email a yacht specification ... ?

You can do both provided you have access to a modem and both fax and email software is loaded to your machine. If these are in place open the specification of the boat you wish to fax go to File->Print and select the fax printer to print to. This will then output the specification report to the fax software. In the case of Email go to File->Send->select .rtf or .html as the format this will then open your email editor and attach the specification to the email message. PLEASE NOTE THAT ANY LINKED PHOTO's WILL NOT BE INCLUDED IN THIS METHOD. Attach the photo's as separate items.

Why do I get an error message when saving a new yacht record. ?

The error is produced because you are trying to save a record without a reference number, this is because you have added a new yacht record using the add record button on the record selector bar on the bottom of the yacht pages. You must add a new record using the  File->Add yacht menu option. This will then create a record with a new reference number.

I have selected to mail to MS Word but nothing happens ?

This means that Yachtbroker can not find the location of MS Word. If you have chosen to install word in a different location then the default, Yachtbroker may not be able to find it. Check to see if MS Word is located in the directory indicated in the  Parameters section under Word Path. If it is not edit this field to point at your MS Word location and run the mail merge again.
